Retro-chic pie shop and soda fountain. Seasonal pies, gelato and soda-fountain classics served in quaint surrounds with vintage furniture.
"Such an authentic cafe. It truly reminded me of Viennese cafes scattered across the city. These places aren’t trying to prove themselves and be like everyone else. We got a bunch of things, but our absolute favorite was the pecorino biscuit. That thing with jam and butter was truly divine. We also got the biyali but with Salmon. I’m not the biggest giardiniera fan so I’d recommend the biyali without it. I’d also recommend getting it with the smoked trout because with Salmon it tasted like other loxs. The sourdough cinnamon roll was solid and the sourdough wasn’t overpowering. I would just say, make sure to get it warmed up. Hibiscus key lime pie was good, but nothing to ring home about."
"The sourdough from the Spinning J tasted great! This place is a great little local cafe where you can grab or dine in on a quick bite. If you’re in the area, come on in and try the different handmade sodas."
"Love the vibe and decor. Food was fantastic — Pain aux raisins were FIRE! (We had to take a bite before we got seated since the wait was just too long, but definitely worth it!) One last thing, there’s no 🍖 in their Grilled “Beet” Rueben. (It’s “Beet,” not Beef) Don’t hate me. Just wanted to call it out since there’s no (v) sign on the menu and I really needed my proteins. 😆"
